My Dauther - The Author

Something wonderful came in the mail while we were away in Ethiopia! Something we've been waiting for all summer.

Now you can pick up a copy of this:

and read this:

the story that I blogged about last fall written by none other than MY DAUGTHER, Sweetanlo.

Her original work that was selected as the contest winner from over 1700 entries. It needed very little editting to be magazine ready and Sweetanlo was consulted about the illustrations and story lay-out.

Did you know that this magazine has a circulation of 700,000 readers!??

How does it feel to be the mother of an actual published author, you ask??

Well...it feels...TERRIFIC! I couldn't be more proud.

So, don't let the door hit you on the way out - pick up a copy for yourself today!

Wonderful!! We don't read American Girl--they make me a little nervous, but I will definitely get a copy for my girls as a treat.
