PhotoHunters were in search of something "plastic" this week. Didn't take me too long to set up this one with a set of plastic toys my younger kids love to play with, except I don't let them use a real candle.
Photo Hunt - Plastic
Alas, this is the only Dairy Queen we'll be having for a while. Our local DQ is closed for repairs after a fire. Oh the sadness. We're just happy that they're rebuilding instead of closing for good. These toys are good looking but nothing beats the taste of the real thing.
Stop by TN Chick for a look at her choice for "plastic" and don't forget to visit the Photo Hunters Site-of-the-Day, Fleur de Lisa, her photo is awesome, clever & creative.

I love the dairy queen tub. Great fun.

Those are very cool Dairy Queen toys! :) Sadly, there are no Dairy Queens in Munich, and back in Canada my mom would only have a Dairy Queen treat after a long run.
oh my, we can have a little party here. sooo cute! :)
nice picture....great fun indeed..blessed weekend!
pls do visit other site here JhoPhotoHunt
I would like one of those banana splits! That's my kind of dessert...no calories, no cholesterol, no fat!!! Yippee.
Great idea for this week's theme
How fun! Let the countdown to DQ's grand reopening begin! :)
I would have loved something like that when I was a kid...So cute!
Take care,
Connie
Mine is up.
Very fun.
ROTFL... on my diet, this is the only kind of Dairy Queen I could have around the house, too ;)

Too fun! They look *almost* good enough to eat. :)
love the ice cream on a stick!!!
Mmmm.... looks like we'll be having ice cream for breakfast!
FAT FREE Dairy Queen! YAY! Oh, I think my new little granddaughter would just LOVE to have those toys! They are CUTE!
My favorite DQ treat is a Dilly Bar (not plastic, of course!) followed by a Buster Bar - yum!
These treats almost look good enough to eat, I can see why your kids like to play with them!
Hope your local DQ is back up and running soon before you go through too many withdrawal symptoms!
Cute pic. I need some of those.
Our Dairy Queen just reopened after renovations after a fire. Strange co-incidence. And my son works there now. But I still don't get a deal on any of those wonderful treats. Sad. Sad. Sad.
Oh, yummy. I can´t believe these are made of plastic! Really? See, we don´t have a DQ store in Germany =)
Have a great weekend!
I forget how I got here, but I'm glad I did- get here, that is. Cute take on the theme, too.
I wish I'd had such toys when I was a kid - though the real thing probably would've been more appreciated LOL!
Haha, this photo reminds me of an ice-cream lookalike candle that I've had for ages. It managed to fool my sister-in-law, who was all ready to dig in - her face would have made such a great photo... but that was before digicams ;)
Have a great weekend!
Well...at least you won't gain any weight this way! LOL! No Dairy Queen is truly a crisis! =) Have a great weekend.
Those are so cute! I miss plastic toys.
Those are fun toys. I love Dairy Queen but it's been a while since I had some.
How fun. Plastic Dairy Queen. I love that place...chocolate blizzard with Reese Cups. They recently closed ours two but we stopped at everyone we found on our vacation. That's probably where these extra pounds came from.
Good choice of photo! Mine is up too. Hope you can visit me :) Have a great week!
Sorry to hear about the DQ. Those are pretty neat plastic toys though. Great photo and post and have a good weekend.
Hi sweetie...I love the little toys, the one with the real candle, thats a toy too? I am all about Dairy Queen myself! lol..My photos are up, come take a look soon
I do love DQ treats! These toys are so cute. :-)
Thank you for the kind words and compliments.
Have a wonderful weekend.
We almost never go to Dairy Queen, and now I wish we went more often.
Very nice toys indeed! I love a good soft serve, had one on my Maryland visit last month.
Mama Bear
yummmmm- banana splits are my fav -- but sadly they sure don't make them like they used to, do they?
Some of the plastic toys look so real. Great choice and photo for this week's theme!
Great entry for the theme -- coem and see mine . . . part of mine has to do with Dairy Queen also.
