Photo Hunters - Narrow

Should be an interesting week for Photo Hunters. We were searching for a picture of something narrow. I'll be interested to see what TN Chick comes up with this week.

I didn't think I was going to be able to think of anything and then suddenly thought of this.

Photo Hunt -Narrow

I think of how narrow this is every time I'm trying to stick a tread through that tiny space.

MANY MANY thanks to all of you who left birthday wishes for my son Shorty. He was blown away! You all are too sweet! (Anyone who didn't have a chance, is, of course, still welcome!)

I think I'm getting old. I can't thread my needle as well as I did a year ago.

Oh, I hope Shorty had a wonderful birthday. ^-^

Ah, very nice work with this theme. As a kid, I used to threat my Mum's needles!!

Thank you for the wonderfully generous comment on my Narrow theme photos.

And tell your son I hope he had a great day and that he has a very special year.

The hole has got to be a littel bigger for me to have a three point shoot of the thread.

Also thank you for appreciating the picture I use for my blogger profile. Thanks to Getty Images. :)

These days I can barely see the needle, let alone the eye! I have no chance of threading a needle without one of those threader thingies...

Happy weekend and a belated (?) happy birthday to Shorty!

Hey Ann! I think your needle has a bigger hole compared to mine. :P Mine are so small that it took me 15 minutes just to get the thread through the hole. I'm still trying to get some tungsten wires that is thin enough to go through the hole but I can't find any around..~~sweat~~

Did you know that a folded thin wire can help? Maybe this is a good idea for your further sewing.. hehe.

Have a great weekend ahead and if you have the time, do check out my another interpretation at http://www2.crizlai.com/2008/02/02/photo-hunters-narrow/

I need to use a needle threader now, provided I can find it. Good choice for the theme Ann and have a great weekend.

I certainly agree with you, Ann. That's why I can never be good in sewing. hahaha....

Wow - great shot of the needle!

Happy Weekend.

Great idea for the theme. It's sometimes challenging to put a thread through a needle.

I just threaded a needle for The Girl and YOU ARE NOT KIDDING! That IS narrow!

Whoa! That is narrow! Threading needles used to be pretty easy for me. And then of course there is that thingy that helps you to do it - it looks like a lasso... Thanks for visiting me, Ann! Glad Shorty had a good B-day!

Great choice for narrow! The opening in a needle is certainly narrow!

This is great! I have trouble threading a needle now, too.

Ha! My husband said I should do a needle since I have one in my hand all the time! Good choice.
Your webpage design is awesome too!

Yes, and I can remember wondering why it was that my grandmother always needed me to do the threading. Now I knwo!

It is indeed hard to put the thread on this very narrow hole of needle. Why can't they make it a little bigger hole lol! Perfect shot for the week's theme! Have a great weekend!

That is very narrow!! Is it sticking in a real tomato? I have a pincushion that's a tomato shape! Maybe that's an apple.

Thanks for your visit and comment!

What a great photo of such a difficult object to shoot. I have to tell you, I thought at first that that was your finger that you had stuck the needle into for the sake of your art!! I'm glad it's not!

great idea! truly painful to the eyes trying to get in the thread. how narrow!

thanks for the visit. :)

It certainly is Ann! Too narrow for me. Another reason why I try to avoid picking on up at all costs. ;v)

I am so glad my new sewing machine has a needle threader. I never used the one on my older machine, but I sure love the one on this one and use it all the time. I get really p-o-ed when it gets out of adjustment.

Ann, last year you participated in my Favorite Ingredients Friday Chocolate Edition recipe exchange. I’m hosting a second edition today, in preparation for Valentine’s Day, and I’ll hope you join in again!
