Here Comes the Rain

Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving;
make music to our God on the harp.
He covers the sky with clouds;
he supplies the earth with rain
and makes grass grow on the hills.

Psalm 147:7-8

I'm singin'! (Where's that harp of mine?)

"I see raindrops on my window. Joy is like the rain..."
Old song from my childhood. No idea who sang it. Old vinyl thing it played on.

Love the pictures!

I like the lightning picture especially.

Here's a song that my mother sang to me when I was little. We stood in front of the window and intently watched the rain as she sang. Living in Houston, we had lots of opportunities! And of course, I sing it to my kids. Sparks will still listen, but my teens are not enthralled with it anymore.

"The little raindrop soldiers are marching from the sky.
In uniforms of silver, I see them filing by.
Their little drums go rat-tat-tat, rat-tat-tat, rat-tat-tat,
Their little feet go pitter-pat, pitter-pitter-pat."

Shelton,

I like the lightning one too - didn't know I had that one until I uploaded the pictures to the computer. I wanted one with lightning and got one by chance and not skill. ;-)

Hollywood and Bloo may not be entralled anymore, but I'll bet all your kids will be singing that song to their kids someday.
