Love Thursday #27

Love is...

A Decision.

We talked to our adoption caseworker this morning and are now waiting on an email with more information and also some things in the mail. Essentially, the children that are available to us are a little boy who is already two years old and the choice of one of two little girls, one who will be 2 in May and one that is now ten months. We'll have to trust God's hand to guide us as to which of the two girls is for us. From early in this process we felt like we were to add another boy and another girl to our family. So unless God directs us otherwise, this is likely our boy. As far as the girls go though, we're torn. We talked about wanting a baby if possible but we also explored the idea of having twins (which is essentially what this would be if we chose the older girl). We requested the information on all three. Hopefully it will shed some light for us and not just make it harder to decide. So now we wait and watch our inbox & mailbox.

We got "the call" today but it different than I imagined it might be. It wasn't, "These are your children." Instead it was, "Are these your children??" God will make it clear to us.

You might keep us in your prayers if you think about it and are so inclined.

Love Thursday& Love Is All Around.

Wow, now that is going to be a hard decision. I can not imagine how hard it is going to be for your family to decide. I hope it all works out for you and your growing family. Happy love Thursday!

Oh I'm so, so, so excited for you! I'm so happy you received the call you've been waiting for! Although I do feel for you being in a position where you will have to chose one of the girls. Praying that you'll find the right answer for your family.

How hard! I'll pray that you will have peace with the child you receive. The best thing is, God is in control of all things and you will end up with the "right" child, but whoever she is, I bet you'd love either one just as wholeheartly. God bless you all!

Happy Love Thursday.

I'm so amazed by families like yours. I struggle just to maintain sanity in my homeschooling of my four!

I'll have to come back and visit more often.

There's a doozy of a decision for you. But how wonderful to be given the chance to make the choice!
Follow your heart and you can't go wrong. Best of luck!

So, what was decided? It is tough to listen for God's answer. I remember I tried so very hard to steer off of His path until He sent my friend to stop me! I am excited to find out what God chose for you. In Him, S.
