Here goes nothing...
- 1. I collect Hot Wheels, Matchbox and other die-cast cars. I keep my collection in a box under my bed. I remember getting some for a birthday when I was a little girl and I still have several of those very cars.
- 2. I don’t wear perfume or cologne much. But when I do put something smelly on, I like to wear men’s fragrances more than ladies’. Just like the way they smell.
- 3. I have CMT which can be a drag although it's usually just a nuisance. But it does make it so I can fold my hands in half and my feet are so small that 355 days a year you’ll find me in size 4 sneakers that I bought in the boys’ shoe department.
- 4. I eat honey on my hot & spicy New Mexican food. I don’t use a whole lot, but I like the sweetness in contrast to the spicy food and it can reallly cut the heat if the dish is pretty hot.
- 5. Thanks to an unfortunate fall while I was pregnant with #1 Son, my Xiphoid Process (that little bone that hangs off the end of your Sternum -breast bone ) points out at a 90 degree angle when it should really point down to the floor.
- 6. Growing up I had a female cat named Fred. I didn’t name her that, but thinking back, it was the perfect name for her.
- 7. I’m a high school drop out who graduated from college Magna Cum Laude with honors at age 20. What am I doing now? A stay-at-home homeschooling mom of five children (hoping for 2 more.) and wife to Pastormac for more than 17 years. I’d like to see some of my college professors or even some of my classmates do that!
- 8. During college I used to put ice in my milk. Also, I’d make a salad from the salad bar at our school’s cafateria, complete with carrots, sprouts, cucumbers, sunflower seeds and Ranch dressing and then pour the whole thing on my turkey sandwich and eat it all up. I did this practically every day for lunch. (Pastormac thought these two things to be very weird back then. Still does.)
- 9. I like to play video games nearly as much or more than my kids. When I’m at an arcade I love pinball the best. I got Nintendo’s first version of a Gameboy for Mother’s Day when Sweetanlo was 1 1/2, and I got a Nintendo DS for my anniversary/birthday present this year. I can’t wait for the Nintendo Wii comes out this Christmas so I can get one for
memy kids.
That was fun! I'm spreading the

I'm on it! Although, after reading yours I don't know how I'm ever going to top your weirdness! :v)
Ouch to #5! #2 so does my MIL. Way to go for #7! And #8 sounds creative and yummy so doesn't qualify for weird. Mind you I haven't watched it in person so maybe your pastormac has a point. :vD
I'll put mine up next week.
A fellow mom-gamer? Awesome. We've been playing retro games around here lately. My five year old and I just beat Banjo-Tooie for Nintendo 64. Tons of fun.
Nothing weird about gaming!
And that salad on the sandwich is most definitely creative and maybe yummy, but it still qualifies as weird!
My mom likes ice in her milk too. I also like video games, but I try not to play often. Blogging is my new thing...
Wonderful list! Looks like you are very creative and a bit frugal! lol Love the salad. :)
I did this one a while ago!! - I can go dig up the link to it if you want to read my answers from then :)
Honey on spicy food? Really? Is it good? I love the mix of sweet and sour in Chinese cooking, and I love the sweet depth that cocoa adds to food with chili, but.. honey?
Good grief! I even made a note to myself that you tagged me and I'm so horribly sleep deprived that I spaced on it. Well. I'm just double-tagged!
