Tough themes for The Hunt this year. I had to surf around last week to finally come up with something. (Thank you Photo Hunters for a little inspiration!) This week's theme, "silver" I also found challenging. All I could think of for most of the week was my daughter's silver iPod Nano. Luckily something else came to mind. The picture quality is lacking since I had to take a picture of a picture. (the original photo is over ten years old.)
I'm sure that the Photo Hunters have come up with lots of great "silver" pictures so check them out! And be sure to stop byTNChick who makes The Hunt possible each week.

Oh good thinking - that's a great photo of a photo. Happy weekend.
Wow - how cool is that!!! :-)
Very imaginative! Good old Mr. Tin Man is great for our theme.
Take care,
Connie

Happy weekend!
This is awesome!!!! The costumes-----all of 'em----are grand.
"There's no place like home" (okay so I hadda say it)
Mine's posted, if you can find time, drop by.
A very special idea, but a good interpretation of the word !
Great photo of a photo. :) Those are all wonderful Hallowe'en costumes! That must have been quite a challenge putting on all the silver makeup!
Have a good weekend. :)
Very creative choice for this week´s theme - fits perfectly!
My hunt is up, too @ Coffee 2 go - Please stop by if you find a minute =)
Very cute. :) Those were all great costumes. A good-looking family. :)
LOL what an awesome photo and costumes.
Mine is up too.
AWWWWW, how cute! We can pretend Tin Man is silver! I'm up too at http://beckie-photoblog.blogspot.com
They all look so cute. I think that is a great choice for the theme this week.
Have a great weekend. :-)
Thanks for stopping by.
Wow! Those were great costumes... did he itch from all that silver makeup? My brother was the Cowardly Lion in a summer stock musical production of the Wizard of Oz when he was in high school. His costume was so heavy and hot, Mom had to hang it outside to dry every night. Wonder what the neighbors thought?
Oh! And a very happy 5th birthday to the birthday boy!
Oh, great picture! That's quite a costume. Wow! Very creative. Perfect photo for the theme!
Awww that's such a sweet picture!yhy
You are always so good at coming up with pics for hard themes, Anne. You have a very creative way of thinking.
Great choice for today! Creative!
What a great photo and what a good sport he is! Did you ever hear that the first tin woodsman had to be hospitalized because of his severe reaction to the makeup? He was very sick!
And he actually let you do that to his mustache, too?!?! That is true acting professionalism! Awesome costumes.
It sure is a creative idea! Photos of photos are often tricky, but that's really a good pic for the theme.
See ya next week!
Perfect post for this weeks theme. The first year at the job I currently am at we did a skit for Christmas, The Wizard of Ods. I was the Cowerdly Lion oh and the person that would not let them in to see the wizard. Thanks for the memories and thanks for visiting mine.
Lol love it! I'm sure you're the only one who will have posted the Tin Man!! Fantastic choice:-) This is my first time participating in the Photo Hunt...great fun:-)
brilliant choice and wonderful costume -- enduring all that silver paint looks like it was well worth it though. Take care.
What a great sport he was! Thank you!
Was he itchy with all that paint?
Mine's up too :)
I think it's a magnificent photo and perfect for this week's theme. Thanks for sharing it.

I think it's a wonderful idea for the theme! This sure was a hard one this week! Thanks for dropping by!
Yes, Tin Man is silver! I think this is a cool picture. I've never been close enough to a "Tin Man" to take a picture.
What a great old photo - I'm glad you remembered it for this week's theme!
I love it - VERY original and fits so perfectly the theme! Have a great rest of the weekend. Take care:)

Hi,
You asked in my blog (Deep Red Style) where I had moved my SPH photos to. I have a journal now and moved them there so that my photoblog is just photos now.

Thanks for stopping by my old place (keep coming by and seeing my photos! LOL) and come check out the new one.
That's a great picture! :D Getting him silver sounds like a lot of work, but worth it in the end. where's the scarecrow? :)
Ah.. the Tin Man.. always one of my favourites. And he can be silver if he wants to be. :-)
Looks and sounds like fun, great photo.
I've been enjoying your photo hunter photos, and getting tempted to join :)
Either that tin man has a moustache, or he's got an awfully big upper lip! *LOL*
